The 11 year old scouts (Dale and Blake) joined the deacons for a fun day at the sand dunes.
The deacons and their leaders were definitely spoiled by the 11 year old scouts and their leaders with homemade chile, dutch oven brownies, and ice cream for dinner. Then pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns for breakfast. It was great.
On Saturday we trekked up to the sand dunes and had some fun with a sled Bro. Fuller had brought.
Next time, maybe we can make some sand surf boards or bring some other items to slide on to the dunes.
There were tracks to follow of boys and animals. Not too many bikes thankfully, and a fun time of setting up tents in the rain and wind.
